Hyperparathyroidism was observed in all patients with CKD (100%) − with a highly significant mean difference (P<0.001) compared with the control group (361.6 vs. 55.07 ng/l) − accompanied with hyperphosphatemia and increased serum creatinine with a hypocalcemic status where other laboratory findings were normal.
